DHEA

DHEA or dehydroepiandrosterone is another substance that occurs naturally in the human body. It is known as a hormone precursor, a substance that preps the body for later production of the sex hormones estrogen, testosterone and progesterone. As a supplement, DHEA is frequently used for treatment of adrenal fatigue. Although it's one of the most popular alternatives to steroids, it is recommended that it's taken with the supervision of a physician so the dosage is maintained and levels in the body are regulated.
